The soundtrack for this movie made Harry Connick Jrs career he was 22. He for years because he did standards in the film everyone compared him to Sinatra.

2024-03-17 17:56:15 +0000 UTCMeg Ryan had been in all these rom com type movies , but a few years after this she played a helicopter pilot in the first Iraq war in 1991, in Courage under Fire, and proved she could play a serious role. Denzel Washington, also starred in it and Sean Astin(who played Sam in the Lord of the Rings) had a small part. Courage Under Fire came out in 1996. Matt Damon, who played Jason Bourne was also in it and lost 50 lbs to play this role. At the time, it astounded everybody how good the movie was. This would be a great one to react to. Caution! There will be some tears involved.

2024-01-02 02:41:05 +0000 UTCI'm surprised that even with the lack of braids and the short hair, neither of you picked up that Sally's best friend was none other that Princess Leia's actress, Carrie Fisher. Even though she wasn't in a lot of movies, she was well known for being a "script doctor." That's an uncredited person that takes a script and really punches it up and make it better. She was known for being really funny, so she would add comedic touches and timing.

Men and women can definitely be friends! I grew up with siblings and it normailised hanging out with the other sex. You should definitely do more romance and rom-coms in the future

This was surprisingly a Summer release in 1989 — they used that scene in the previews for this movie. I was in a movie theatre to see a different film when this preview came out — and I remember the whole audience bursted out laughing at that scene, and made me want to see this movie instead of the one I was waiting to see.
