So, Thrallworks?

Hello Patrons! So here’s some basic sketches and ‘stormin’ I’ve been doing, trying out different styles and the like (and apparently drawing boxes). Don't worry too much about how pap they are, that's just...uhh...how I draw.

Now the style is going to be quite important, as that is going to impact on drawing time, and time is of a limit. However, some I prefer much more than others…and of course it’s the ones that take more time. I think I’ll be erring toward realism, and as I do it I may fall into more chibi-like or off-model drawing for less key points. I’m also thinking it’s going to be mostly writing in the updates with only own or two pieces of art- and that art for the most part may be inked, but might not always be coloured.

The character here is going to be your main liason, and the face that you’re going to see most often (so I better make it a good one!) your Secretary Thrall, Sec Tureis Cerise, or just ‘Cerise’ if you like. Unlike the Thralls you’ll be harvesting as members of the ‘K Committee’, she’s a part of the cultivated group, which is to say made within Thrallworks itself. Not your department though! (Not yet, anyway).

This gent is Dr. Sihidruhan, and is basically the overseer and who takes your reports to the big-wigs and the like. He probably won’t be seen around the parts too much.

There’s a bit more that I’ve got stashed away, but man, Volition is taking up a lot of time. I’m hoping to gain access to all my old work to help me along with this sometime this week, and we can proceed from there. I do ask for patience- it’s a case of making it good and trying to find the time for that- but hopefully that won’t be as much an issue when the ball has started rolling. I do know it’s going to be built on in small steps, and the plan is for more content to become available as we progress.

But to begin with! A brief explanation. This is going to work as something of a CYOA- a choose your own adventure. I’m going to be opening a Discord chat area and the like, and with each post you’ll be asked to make a decision, normally via a poll but sometimes by selecting stuff you want individually (by messaging me I guess we’ll work that out) and then me taking the top choices and running with those.

Now sadly for all of you, as much as I hope you all get your rocks off by capturing and enthralling subjects, encasing them in nana-fibre latex-like substances….I am also a believer in risk and player accountability. So do be aware as you go ahead that you can LOSE at this game.

Quite what will happen at that point I’m not sure…but just treat it as another part of the narrative. ;). Anyway! With me not knowing my work rota but definitely-knowing the back-end of this month is going to be stacked, I’ve got to get a move on with this and Volition, so enough post-making!
