I humbly ask you not to leak it into the public spaces. Those who like the game but can't afford support will get it in just 2 weeks.
And... if this isn't too much trouble for you, after you finish the update, please don't torture me with silence. Write at least a couple of words about your impressions. Even if it will be just "cool" or "meh". That’s important for me.

Why is it sad? I do a lot of it intentionally as a base and motivation for future replays. So that when people sit down for the game a year later, they pick up some other choices and then stumble upon a scene they haven't seen before. I know how cool those findings feel.

2023-06-17 12:44:42 +0000 UTCAbout the "evil raiders." So far, the journey is going pretty smoothly. The exposition is full of all sorts of references to the dangers that await along the way. But Selene is more involved in the conversations, the Cadonis situation, herself, and her feelings... However, I didn't just give all that exposition for nothing. In the next update, there will be the first danger on the way. And it will be almost wholly about that. Like - action - quickly! - or you'll be dead (no kidding). But which one of the previously mentioned dangers it will be, I won't say ;) About threesomes. As it turns out, it's a lot harder to do than couples. More participants, more descriptions of who is doing what, and then need to push Selene's action there somehow... But the result seems not bad to me. Especially since it's definitely not the last threesome in the game. And now I have experience with it and an understanding of the approximate volume of such scenes.

2023-06-17 04:42:39 +0000 UTCIt's the "danger" for the dev with such a game that has so much subtle diversity. One may speed-run an update, thinking at the end "there is not so much content". It's forgotten that there are two main arcs so far (Iolanta and Cadonis), with lot of branches depending of your previous actions/choices, your ethnicity and your origin. I finished the new update in a couple of hours. But I have 3 other games to do (I have one for each origin). And still, I'm pretty sure I will miss a lot of little things. Which is a bit sad considering all the work Defiant Explorer put in it.

2023-06-17 02:08:52 +0000 UTCYou must be meaning, "advancing the story with 100k-word updates, and multi-level dialogues between multiple characters, and new situations that the protagonist hasn't been in yet..." Then yes I do. As for time in the story, that's just a convention. I can skip it with a few words, like "month passes." See? Only eventfulness matters. A detailed minute is more important to the story than 150 mentions of "a year has passed".
