It was the Best of Times, it was the...BLURST OF TIMES?!

Well, here's the post I didn't want to make.

There's no internet at home, which is where the art computer is, otherwise I'd have some nice art for you all to enjoy, as is I'm currently typing this up in my local library's....library, with no new art and no good news.

Finances are dire, and I'd like to take this moment, before the next patreon payments are due, to give you an opportunity to revise or cancel your pledges, as for the next few months I really do not think that drawing smut is going to be a priority.

I'm a big boy now, sadly, and big boys, it seems, have to pay money to keep roofs over their heads; the rent is up and- much as I enjoy drawing tits, piercings and all the rest- I don't think I really want to make a career out of it. This is a hobby...a hobby I take seriously, but a hobby nonetheless, and it was never where my maximum attention was going to be (or, arguably, should be). And really the only way to make this a career anyway would be a....what, an adult game?

Not that I haven't thought about how I'd make it. ;)

But you're still drawing smut, right?

Well, yeah, I love it too much. And will I carry on Volition? Again yeah- I mean I already have the end of the chapter's panels planned out and it's a fun story to do. I just can't promise anything regular, or an ability to say 'oh yeah this is due on the friday'. And really, everyone loves a scheduled release, so that's no good.

I'd also planned a CYOA adventure out, and I've got a little more art for that (which I can't show you for another week and a half, dammit!), but now I wonder if I can even spare the man-hours for that; it'd be a whole evening to run a session and many another evening to prep it....maybe we'll just run the first session anyway and we'll see for interest from there. Lets say June the 10th!

Anyway. That's all I've to say for the moment. I hope that the current situation can work itself out and I'm very thankful for all the support I've received from y'all up until now, hence me wanting to give you this heads up- it's your money you're putting up, so you deserve to know the deal.
