Thrallworks: Gem Implanting

Haha, so funny story here, but first wheeeey finally managed to get images off one computer onto another. Anyway.

So, internetless as I've been, I've been browsing through my old files trying to find something, anything, to entertain myself. Went waaaaay back into my archived documents on my ancient external hard-drive, discovered a bunch of music (Origins of Symmetry is still a good album in case you were worried).....and this one mysterious word document called 'Stage 3'.

Turns out, Stage 3 was the name I gave a short Thrallworks story about Toph during Stage 3 of her conditioning. Delighted with the rediscovered find and seeing how it wasn't absolute trash, I edited it and drew an image to go along with it- updating both to what I consider the 'current' Thrallworks look for Processed, Harvested Thralls.

Anyway, the funny bit: I actually wanted to upload the Toph one first and save this one as a surprise as I'd tried out a simpler style with that pic I was thinking to use for Volition, while this one was more involved...but when I went to check the Stage 3 story I'd transferred over HO HO HO it was the old version of it! Oh dear me. So that one'll have to wait.

....So yes, maybe you wondered what the gem was about in the last Thrallworks pic I did. Maybe I'll go into it in more detail in a future post (and maybe with accompanying future art, but the inspiration burst has ended), but I'd hope that the story suggests it well enough...so, for those of you kind peoples who have stuck out this rough time with me and missed all this old universe of mine...enjoy!
