Game Update #2

Well, things progress.

I've not too much to talk about this time compared to the previous post, but as a quick summary; the only think left to do for the first half of the demo is to put the UI together; so it can be expected this month.

For more detail though, lets see!

Writan

After several rewrites, I scrapped the narrative-based selections for some of the stuff and focused on a menu system- there was a problem in some of the content being desirable to skip, and some of the lore proving clunky to fit in with the content.

It turns out it works much better! Though it comes with its own drawbacks when it comes to coding. Either way, all the writing for the first half is done and hopefully it means the much more narrative-based second half goes smoothly.

Drawan

Pretty much all the art is done for the first half. There's only a couple of things I could think to add that I might go back and add come the proper demo release, but overall I think it's all squared away regarding base images...however, making the images do stuff is another matter...

Codan

Basically what we're waiting on. That 9 days suggestion fit in well enough to get the 'content' ready, but getting it sent out in a palatable manner is another thing entirely so it turns out. I at least have figured out how to do it thanks to much online help, but it looks like this will be the bulk of the work remaining and take quite some time for my pleb-tier skills.

Full-demo

As for the full 2-scene version for y'all $5 backers, there's still a lot of rewriting to do for that, but the art (beyond the CG's) promises to be done at a quicker pace. I have ideas and roughs in place, and am trying not to overdesign to the point where it takes forever to get it out there; it's as much a challenge of time-keeping as it is of creation right now.

Thankyou for your support in all of this, it's been a great comfort to log in to patreon over the last week to see that there's still interest even with me not posting anything for a span. I may well be doing some thrallworks & non-thrallworks sketches up over the following days just to flex the smut muscles a little and as thanks for you people being you! Stay tuned,
