Ahh, what a month! We released part 2 of Thrallworks at the $10 level! Huzzah! But what else is going on? Well. To be honest I wanted to wait until I had some art to show or something appropriate, but then we ran out of Month, so here we go anyway!

Thrallworks

Work's apace on the next section, having learned long and hard lessons from part 2. I'm hoping the first of the three paths, 'Trust', will be done come the end of November. There'll be a cut down in the amount of specific CG's I think, but hopefully not in written content. I feel these parts need to be substantial.

Most of the current work is going on with the writing and the mechanics along with assetwork...but as I've already shown off the assets previously, I reckon we can hold off on showing off for a minute.

Also, next month I'll be releasing part 2 for the $5 level! After feedback from peeps who've played it, I might also be adding one more CG to it. Though I might save that for final polish toward a demo release. We'll see!

Volition

Progress is actually a bit further along than the bar suggest as I work on the dialogue and content for the pages remaining for this 'issue', but I'm stuck wondering just what to share with you all. Perhaps sketches? I don't feel that just putting the comics up as they come is a smart move at least; progress would be too janky.

At any rate, I've been happy enough with Clip Art Studio that I think I'll be using it for the comic from here on out! Seemed like fine software to continue this on.

"But TDL," I hear you ask, "Why only now have you started looking at other programs? Where is my money going?"

Happily, the answer to both questions is the same- it's all because of THIS:

New Computer

Well actually this came out of my savings, but I wouldn't have done this if it wasn't for the dollars of you all!

And being the big buff machine that it is, with lots of ram and a fancy graphics processor, I can now try my hand at new programs, like blender, or after affects...and try and do a few new things I've never been able to before.

Neat! So how's life?

Pretty alright! We'll see how this Thrallworks demo eventually goes down before making any big changes, at least. I've some numbers to hit in my head to make this feel like the right venture to 'ad', so lets see about hitting them.

Beyond that, I hope you continue to enjoy the sketches I'll be putting out. Ah, and another poll soon! I'm building quite a list of drones to add to this game, that's for sure! I think I'll get around to roughing them this coming months.
