Trust Route!

Today we start off with a video! A snippet of the Trust Route I’ve been working on these nigh three months now (most of which work has been going into the expressions, as you will see). Literally only…I’d say 3 days away from releasing this version to the $10 peoples, then I’ll likely work on the Guilt Route.

Currently the trust route isn’t linked into parts 1 and 2, and I’ve set it up so that you’re going into the trust route in the hardest configuration, so if you can complete this version of the trust route, you’re good for any other! (Also, if you watch the video you get spoilers/a guide on how to at least get past the first trigger~)

What Else then?

What else indeed? I suppose the biggest news I have to share is that I’m currently ceasing work on the Movement universe in order to focus in more on Volition. I feel that I know roughly what I want to do with the Movement, some kind of RPG, but I lack the resources of time to properly action on it due to working on Thrallworks. However, I certainly can spare the weekends to work on Volition.

So starting after I get this latest route and the commissions out the door, the weekends ahead I’ll be alternately working on Thrallpedia entries and Volition comics pages. I’ll be working on the comic in batches of 3 pages or so, so I hope to have plenty enough roughs to show you as we move along.

Oh yeah, those commissions?

Yep, well underway, got two out the door and more to come! When all of them are out I’ll be collating them and putting them on gumroad for about £7.50, with alla you folks getting a £5 discount on that. Actually as I’m typing this I think I’ll put out two versions, one with just the straightforward entries like in the regular Thrallpedia series for £5 that y’all can get for freeeeeeee and then one with individual standalones for the characters (like for the $2 entries), alt-colours and little instructor log pages too and that’ll be the £7.50 version.

As for the two done, those are Shizune and Rogue. Check out the roughs!

The others to come are an OC, Marinette from Ladybug, Black Canary (Bruce Timm edition) and Sophia from Worm. I have to say it’s been very fun working on these, and no doubt I’ll do another similar one in the future for a different model line. Harem? Ponygirls? Maybe I should let y’all vote on that?

How about votes on who should be in a regular Thrallpedia entry?

Yeah we can do that! Or would you prefer just to vote or comment on what kind of entry should the next one be? Throw a comment below! (Though sometimes I will want to highlight a department, personnel, or- like with the PSD- the equipment!)

Speaking of polls, the next $10 one is to vote on a Maid entry, but that’ll be separate from the main series I think, more like these commissions.

Ah yeah, and that ‘Place an Order' button on these Thrallpedia pages….I reckon over the next month I might actually make an Order sheet that’ll function as a way to commission me.

Cool cool. And how we doin’ in general?

Not bad. Kinda struggling to find worthwhile writers to commission. Just did a twitter-dive and maybe found some nice artists at least, should their slots open up. The trade with Re-Maker was nice and I’d like to collab on something else but I’m stuck on what that could be and elsewise too taken up with getting these projects out the door. Bigger changes are a few months down the road so maybe there’ll be more cause to consider things then.

I also want to make a roadmap soon so I can tell alla y’all and the world exactly what the plan is for Thrallworks and what kind of content can be expected in every stage of it’s production over the latter half of 2020. As we get toward all 3 routes being done for the demo I’ll work on that- I hope the other two don’t take half as long as this one! I think I’ve worked out some ways to speed the process up now though. I hope. Plus the fear route is pretty straightforward...
