L-D19: Orientated (Future Content)
Added 2021-02-28 00:10:29 +0000 UTCSo while I'm working through images and code to get the demo in a good shape to ship in, I thought I'd show you something that I worked on that I can't currently add, but will be able to add in the future as we transition into Unity!
A nice lil' floaty L-D19, successfully orientated.
As to why this can't be added into Ren'Py, it's a matter of video-masks and alpha channels. There's no way to take into account variants in suit colour, hairstyle and designation placement without making some...72 different videos all of this same looping animation to call up.
With Unity I can properly layer-in these assets to move and work within the engine without having to import it as a video, so we'll be able to do more stuff like this on a practical level.
Anyway, expect more posts over the next few days about stuff, including the next game update on Weds. We're getting there!
