A bit late this time around, but hey, its been a month.

As you might have seen, there's been a fair bit of Cerise sketching/redev work as I chose her as the first of the character sprite assets to overhaul. I'll probably be going for a layered actor rather than a Live2d one. I'm debating whether to do both a side face and a forward facing body, but one must be sensitive toward time.
Forward-facing could be more intimate, but I also intend to show Keller more in these scenes so 3/4ths view like above might ultimately provide all the utility we need.

At any rate, I'm hoping this redesign will be able to solve some problems that I was having previously and can be something to apply to L-D19's design in due course.
I'm also wondering about making Cerise fairly customizable, in a similar sense that you can make the rule in the demo that 'you are always naked when in my room', you can vary it up in a private setting; that way she could still be present in CG's without me needing to spend 1 or more days just on variant appearances and thus make her inclusion non-viable.
To this end...I dunno, it might be worth a form? Or maybe a poll to set a theme.

Other stuff
Its been a hard month this month because I've been struggling to come to terms with how to do what needs doing and letting myself get crushed by some hard decisions I've had to make and am going to make. Not all of them *bad*, but there is one that I'm finding particularly gutting. Well, we'll get there when we get there.
It's also apparent that commissions are a bit of a drag on the production economy, so after I've cleared the current board (including a couple of outstanding drone exchanges) I'm probably going to lock them off. The most I can see is opening up a couple of $25 patreon slots for those who want a new drone in every month, but even that's a stretch.
In the meantime though I'm very aware that there's a lot of writing and design to do, so moving ahead I'll be focusing on character assets, both reworked and new (including sketch pages to go en-publico) And scene writing, particularly in regards to a new opening/set-up into the game proper. The current one in the demo I always imagined as more of a leap-in rather than a lead-in, and it'll be nice to have it architected out.
