Upcomings and On-Goings

Just a quick update on what's going on behind the scenes at the moment!

• Kitty Treetz #2 is nearly finished! I was aiming to have it up before a little mini-vacation we've had planned for this weekend, but Labor Day is looking increasingly more likely, if not a bit after. I don't want to overly rush it, but I also don't want it to come out in October while being labelled as "Summer 2023." I am trying! This one has a little more going for it on the illustration front, and basically serves as a translation / revision of the mermaid comic rough draft I slapped up on here a couple years ago. Remember, active patrons at time of release will receive download codes for the book on itch!
• Witches' Thralls is moving along steadily! Chapter 6 is drafted, and Chapter 7 is pretty far along as well! I am trying to write a little further ahead before editing than I was before, as it allows me to keep my trajectories in mind and adjust if something surprises me. Sometimes that happens! It's happening right now! Yay, storytelling! Witches' Thralls remains a backer exclusive, though I am considering if I should find somewhere to slap up the first chapter or two at some point. I don't know! I do not know.
• Lonely Hooves is not dead but it is very much waiting patiently for me to stop feeling like my world is on fire. This is pretty true of most of my drawn artwork lately. I am being granted less and less time and energy for these things and I really need something to give. Apologies, in the meantime. I am doing my best.
• Yes, this includes the commission queue. I've only been taking comms when I am utterly desperate for the money. Unfortunately, due to the present cost of living situation and my day job's refusal to throw me a fucking bone, this is still resulting in a queue I am struggling to whittle down in the slightest. I am very tired!
• I am very slowly figuring out GODOT??? Apparently??? So that's cool. No promises on where that's headed atm but it's a nice thing to do when my bones hurt or the allergies are destroying my ability to think or see clearly. Hooray for online classes!

Thank you for your collective continued patience with my wild bullshit in this horrid year of our lord 2023. The baby new year grew rapidly into a hellish monster and I spend every waking moment trying to fend off its attempts to finally destroy me. May it die and have its soul engulfed in flames. Amen.
