Whatever Melissa has in mind it's a great story, beautifully realised - and, in general, I'm not a fan of illustrated fiction but this is so good I'm giving Melissa a pass :)

2022-08-29 21:54:00 +0000 UTCI have a feeling we'll likely see Johanna again at some point. If not at this beauty clinic, then definitely at some point in the future. I think given that Andrew said that he couldn't stand to spend more time with her, circumstances are going to push them to not only do just that, but for Johanna to be "Aunt Elena's" best friend, pushing her more into the world of glitz, gaudy, glamour, and gossip. This is turning out to basically be Melissa's version of Joe Six-Pack's "His Life as a Trophy Wife" (which is probably my favourite work of theirs) and my favourite ongoing project right now, for sure!

2022-08-26 12:16:49 +0000 UTCI really think Andrew is starting to suspect something is really off about all of this, here's a conspiracy theory, Marina is a journalist, I wonder if this is one big charade to create a story about someone being pushed into an extreme situation and how they react, I think the use of prosthetics is a hint that this will not be a total long term transformation, it's just convenient that at certain points, those that Andrew needs to speak to are somewhere else, whatever the real story is I'm sure it will be wonderful to follow ❤️
