2023-03-19 23:16:29 +0000 UTCI guess if Andrew can be gaslighted and brainwashed that drastically, which I believe is realistically not possible, as there would be to much evidence left in the world that the story is not true. All he had to do is go is go to a gynecologist of his choice and let him/her have a look. Or choose many other ways to find proof. Even for his own sanity. Is it possible to deceive him completely? Only if he is extremely gullible at this point, and that would make him an uninteresting main character to me. I will leave it at that. I just wanted to let Melissa now what I was thinking about the development of the story. She should write it any way she wants to of course. Love your stories Melissa!

And… „she“ obviously has no problem to present her cleavage to the world. Thanks, for bringing the ring back. That is an important peace of jewellery for a devoted wife. I hope, she will later on have some time to ponder about things… like the fact, that she can’t wear flats anymore and somehow even in heels has to look up to her husband, who used to be the same hight as Andrew.

I can't wait to see what happens, when his "wife" introduces him to her "husband", whom she recently married...

Plus, it seems the narrative they’re going with is that she was in an accident so “amnesia” isn’t out of the question for why he can’t remember his childhood as Elena. Pictures and videos can easily be faked and fabricated, especially with today’s technology with DeepFake and AI voices and the like. Things can simply be bought, made and lied about. Sure, it’s insidious and pretty dark, but if everyone and everything around him is telling him things that conflict with his own memories and gaslight the crap out of him, it wouldn’t be hard for Andrew to essentially brainwash himself into being Elena, in terms of suspension of disbelief for the story.

However speaking for me personally, I feel making Andrew believe he truly is Elena would be a stretch to far from reality and lead us to magic. First he could not possibly be a complete woman, but only transgender. What about his new asset being not a female vagina that women are born with. Gyn appointments, x-rays, no uterus and the like. What about memories of his life as Elena he doesn't have. Childhood and the like. What about pictures of his life and things they would have collected throughout their life together. The ruse would apart very fast in reality, unless Andrew has really mental issues. And I'm not even being very realistic when it comes to MtF transitions. Dilating anyone the new asset? But this is just my opinion of course and will wait in anticipation for how the story continues. I really enjoy it.

The thing with brainwashing and gaslighting is, that they are never 100% successful and leave room open for errors. Knowing that even this is just the beginning of act 2 I'm happy we still have a lot of drama and excitement ahead of us. <3

I like her inner thoughts as she starts feeling flattered by Nikos attentions, and I think in no time she will also start feeling attracted by him. She is even doubting about her memories now, she is not sure whether she has met Nikos just few weeks before; she is undergoing an excellent manipulation of the mind. I am sure that meeting Marina next time will break her mind even more. Can't wait for it!

The chaos and inner conflict would be hillarious. As always amazing chapter! It only drives the excitement and anticipation higher for the coming event, when he will finally see Marina+1.
