Those on the southern hemisphere, I hope sweater weather is treating you well. With my focus split between the update for the SRP skin, which now also includes figuring out what the new PTB broke, the future that is LCS in Pure, and C13 AEGIS as it stands, this update isn't as groundbreaking as some have been, but there is a new feature, never before seen in AC.
Changelog:
new glare style: ARCADIUM
minor changes to le mans due to ARCADIUM
power of the sun now boosts speculars as well
added "auto film grain" which automatically modulates film grain intensity to simulate ISO noise
Nothing like auto film grain has even seen the light of day within AC, and if you like your retro vibes, in the style of Night Runners, i think you'll like this. It's still a bit flaky in some conditions, and doesn't really translate to photo mode well. But, as an experience, it transports you to a new world.
Here's a hint
If you want a brand new AC experience here's my suggestion
Activate GT or ARCADIUM glare style
Activate "power of the sun"
Activate "photo style brightness"
Activate "Auto film grain"
Select "Filmic+" tonemaping

2024-07-04 15:32:24 +0000 UTCPure LCS has an entirely different world lighting setup so many things will need adapting. Though even at CSP level LCS still has a lot of issues. A pure LCS compatible filter will be coming later
