I think my favorite part about learning of the shattering is looking back at other gem-locations featuring the diamond insignia. Some of them were made before pink diamond was shattered, with the 4 diamonds in one design, and others were made post-shatter, as seen with a 3 diamond design in the ship from Jailbreak.

I can assure you that Steven Universe still has a few more wild curveballs to throw before the series is over, and we’re definitely steadily reaching the climax. This show is also such a joy to rewatch after finishing because there is an insane amount of foreshadowing scattered even in the earliest episodes that you can’t fully appreciate until you’ve finished the entire series. Can’t wait for S4!
