The SU fans really want you to be as surprised or go through the catharsis of having your theory be proven right as we went through when we watched this in real time. Thank you so much for uploading so many SU episodes. You’re in for a wild ride. P.S. To answer your question from a few uploads ago, my favorite character is Pearl and always has been. She’s provided so much of the emotional arc of the emotional roller coaster that is this show. What Pink did to her in terms of commanding her to keep her secret was so wrong. Even if Pink didn’t know impact it would have on Pearl, it really made Pearl a mess, especially after Rose had Steven and was gone. In the season 1 episode “Rose’s Scabbard”, when Pearl went off when she found out Rose kept a secret from her (Lion), she kept arguing with the other Crystal Gems that although Rose kept secrets, she never kept secrets from her and that she was the one Rose told everything to. Amethyst got defensive and told Pearl that she wasn’t the only one who missed Rose. Then in one of her most hurtful outbursts (the most hurtful being the one she directed towards Steven), Pearl exclaimed to Amethyst and Garnet that none of them had what she had with Rose. Some fans thought Pearl was being self-centered or even delusional about her importance to Rose compared to the others but now we know Rose led Pearl into believing that and created the dependent gem that she became. Add in the fact that Pearl was Pink Diamond’s Pearl as was established in this episode and what we know about Pearls being slaves in gem culture and how every gem holds the Diamonds out to be their supreme leaders and acts super devoted to them like they’re brainwashed cultists… yeah….
