(probably) Moving to discord!!
Added 2023-10-21 20:34:15 +0000 UTCIt seems that one of you is having my patreon page scraped and automatically uploaded to the public for free. I don't care that much since nothing I post is "exclusive" for the most part and everything gets posted on twitter pretty soon after but it's still a little annoying especially since the number of people "following" that page is over 7 times more than my active patrons and my patreon posts somehow get hundreds of views despite never having more than 90-ish patrons at any given moment. Anyway, I am planning on taking some time before I post again to basically migrate everything over to discord instead now that they allow you to monetize directly through there. Hopefully they allow me to set it up in a way that is less easy to scrape and mass upload but either way, it will just simplify my life to just have everything integrated rather than tied to patreon status.

Yea I thought about doing something like that but discord takes less fees, has the built in shop that I'd like to set up for new types of commissions, and I can also start doing more giveaways/polls directly in discord. Like I said in the post, the scraping isn't really the end of the world since I don't ever try to make much "exclusive" stuff (and honestly there is no way to stop it) but it's just kind of the final bit of motivation to move everything over.

Sorta thinking of ways you could try to combat that but I have no idea what the creator part of Patreon looks like. I don't know if the ToS allows it but giving Patreon lets you assign roles in Discord, you could put some things in Discord after posting perhaps the news of it here or something.
