Deep in the Forest update
Added 2022-01-04 15:14:27 +0000 UTCDeep in the Forest has received a public update, featuring Senan's introduction and some scenes more where we get to know a bit more about the love interests and Lanvallec's daily life... before stuff starts to happen and shit hits the fan, hehehe! For now, enjoy the flirting!
I've also solved the issues with the inventory, which should work correctly now. I'm always a bit afraid of touching things, because every small change always breaks the translation, and then I have to go and copy again all the text XD (no kidding, it took me three days to copy the 16k words we have by now).
The next update will have the battle system in place, for which I need some art assets finished first, the last love interest, and hopefully a couple of new CGs if Sinnia can finish them in time for the update. I've also bought some backgrounds for the village, so it doesn't look so boring with just a single image, and the backgrounds of the blacksmith's and Sorin's store will be replaced by illustrations made by Selavi, the artist who made the rest of the backgrounds, for style consistency. Those two are in the works, but I can show you the village's backgrounds that will be implemented next:
