I love this scene so much, Id love to have seen you guys react to the english dub of that scene though. Aleks Le took that scene and made it even more emotional than it already is and its amazing.

2025-03-01 23:46:18 +0000 UTCOkay, im typing this as you got to the "How do you get burns on the back of the neck" IM PUNCHING AIR RIGHT NOW, this scene and backstory i have being waiting for since we first saw Jinwoo's Mom as i Saw the burn scars Immediately on Epiode 1 and remember the reason for it, i've caught a few other reactors comment on the scars when she was laying in bed before off-handedly during episodes so i have being waiting so long for this Vulnerable and backstory moment from Jinwoo's Recollection. Burn Story in the lines. --------------- Jinwoo's Mom Park Kyunghye Used to Bathe Jinah on the stool washing and rinsing her Daughters hair from a pot of water, Jinwoo wanted to do something good for his Mom (i think he was ~12yr at the time) and do the same for her as she does for Jinah so he went to boil water to get it warm for his mom and do the same. Jinwoo at that age didn't realise that his Mom let the water Cooldown, he poured the pot of boiling water to rinse her hair but got scared at her flinching letting the heavy Pot spill all the water out at once. Jinwoo was Scared at hurting his mom and was anticipating her rage, Park Kyunghye Immediately turned around and hugged Jinwoo and kept asking him if he was alright checking to see if he got burned at all. (this might vary depending on the WN/Manwha as The audiobook did a great job seering this into my memories.) --------------------------- I was left with Soo much disappointment at how they didn't expand on it further as it was very much a divining factor on how he grew up and who he is, Mistakes aren't the end of the world and even if your mistakes led to injury and hurt theres still people who loved him and would forgive him. i really believed they missed the ball on that one, however i can't complain Too much im just venting really as A-1 is doing a masterful job so far cramming 2-3 Arc's per season so far. Okay, Vent over. Glad you guys are really enjoying it as well as the Fanbase Supporting you to enjoy it. (EDIT: I don't remember if the "Promise" is explained in a later episode, i don't think it is but i will leave that to Taylor's Discretion to mention it.)

2025-03-01 19:35:15 +0000 UTCGotta echo Taylor! I wanna say something, but I don't wanna spoil anything!!!! Also, Mom scene, made me ugly cry! Probably because I just watched Frieren 1 and 2 this morning... but still, ugly cry, it was wonderful, gets those always-growing negative emotions out so you can feel good after. Lastly, you two skipped over it, however he also just obtained (and this is something Taylor would know from WN/Manwha), he just got Demon Monarch's Sword and 2 Demon Monarch's Daggers. 7:49 is where you can see it in your video. Top 2 loot of the 4 shown with the subtitles saying: "We could have a party! A fun, lavish party!" And "Not those." Figured I'd point them out as these were more noted rewards in the Manwha via the virtue of the medium making it possible to notice tiny details like them. But I wanted to point those items out because you seem to have missed them as I did before going back and noticing that they are indeed there. So yeah, he just got a Shadow Wyvern, and the weapons he just had to fight against in his last fight! Also, I adore Kaisel, he's not as pronounced as some of the other prominent Shadow Soldiers that he's named (Igris, Tank, Iron, Tusk) but he just rule of cools with Kaisel so much! I can't wait for us to see more of Kaisel!!!!
