He had an accident that left him paralyzed and incapable of walking. Hence "What's the opposite of Christopher Walken? Christopher Reeve!" PS- Reeve died in 2004, so he was known for being Superman where he could tank bullets but had to dodge books. 'Cause yeah, CGI wasn't really a thing yet.
