2025-04-29 21:37:40 +0000 UTCThere is a realization that a lot of viewers miss about this episode, and I think you've missed it too. around 16 minutes in when you're talking about Cid playing it off like he didn't need money. It's not that he played it off as he didn't need money, it's that he honestly didn't realize Gamma was implying the money was for him too. In the earlier episodes Alpha tells him they need to go separate ways. She intended that to mean we need to split up, go into the world and build our organization bigger to achieve our goals. He interpreted it as we're breaking off from his fantasy and growing up. In this episode His inner dialogue even says she used my knowledge to build all this and make a crapton of money. He then stops himself from being upset about it and says I should just be happy she built me this 'set' to play around in. He literally thinks they are working for themselves at this point and just occasionally coming around to play into his little games and fantasies. It's important to understand this because he does stuff in later episodes that won't make sense unless you realize he sees a distance between him and the ladies that is only in his head.

2025-04-26 11:42:09 +0000 UTCFor some reason I thought I would have to wait until Tuesday to see another episode. Although I don't hate this arc, it is my least favorite. That being said it has some of favorite characters: Gamma, Nu, and Sherry. All 3 crack me up for different reasons. The tiny bit of info of Gamma's backstory was really whittled down. ---- Cut Content After Gamma joined shadow garden, she did not adapt well. She was also getting bullied. Very unlike Cid, who is normally to self absorbed to notice anything, he spent time with her and comforted her. He spent a lot of time with her talking about things from his past world.
