2025-05-08 18:11:51 +0000 UTCYeah, this episode is like, the first DBZA "filler" I'd say. What I mean by that is, not much happens, but the plot does move along more than you think. Like, just as an example: Krillin/Gohan come up with the plan to get a Dragon Ball and hide it. Vegeta destroys a full village and gets their Dragon Ball (one of the 2 Freeza is lacking) Krillin gains the second Dragon Ball along with unlocked potential. Vegeta gets owned entirely. Zarbon goes and tries to track down Vegeta (end of episode) So like, nothing massively funny happens, it's entertaining, but comparative to the other episodes, it's not as... full of just gag jokes or action of any kind, it's just subtle one-liners and plot, which, I feel it's episodes like this that the Namek Arc in DBZA is what most people would point to as a "true" DBZA arc. Like Saiyan arc had to walk so that this arc could run and the next saga could fly. Also, yes, Zarbon fight, but compared to some other fights, it's hardly a fight, more like a bunch of one-liners and the setup to the rematch that we all know is coming.
