2025-05-14 08:16:16 +0000 UTCOnce again yet ANOTHER example of Goku being an amazing father. Goku did NOT have to take Gohan in the chamber with him. Gohan has the potential of actually slowing him down & what happens next makes things even more beautiful. Goku also manipulated Vegeta to spend time with Trunks, he didn't have to do that either. In the hyperbolic chamber you don't have to bring "two" people with you. Goku is manipulating Vegeta intentionally so that they can have father son bond. Goku can be a air head but he's not stupid. This is one of the reason also why this saga, OG DB & the ladder years of Super are the best of Dragon ball in my humble opinion. I also learned a lot of english from this saga.

He and Goku both know if he truly planned on fighting Goku before defeating the androids and Cell he'd do it now since he's already stronger than Goku is currently and since he he wants that fight to be worthy of their rivalry, so it would be far too easy to be worthwhile if he got a year of training and then didn't let Goku do the same.
