The vegeta not being a savvy fighter thing is 1000 percent true, its why when he came to earth he was shocked the earthlings were surviving as long as they did, goku, tien, krillin, yamcha, they were all martial artist first before they learned how to fly and shoot laser beams, master roshis first training of goku and krillin he taught them how to throw a punch and fight dirty, vegeta grew up with saiyans who are all brawn and no brains, skills like sensing energy and fighting smarter are things he had to learn, but he still resorts back to the saiyan shit

2025-06-09 20:31:14 +0000 UTCIt's funny how spamming small ki blasts is what is known as "Vegeta's technique" and not the Galick Gun or the Big Bang Attack. It's a move that could be effective against an opponent of similar power, like how Android 17 had to dodge Piccolo's barrage of ki blasts because they would have hurt when they fought at equal power. The problem is that since these fighters like to show off and use more actual techniques, it's rare that it's ever used as anything other than a desperation move, and it's completely useless against an opponent who is strong enough to make the other fighter desperate.

2025-06-09 17:18:22 +0000 UTCAlso, fun fact: Cell's japanese voice actor did all of Cell's forms with only one voice. There wasn't much of a voice change in between. But in the USA, even the original DBZ dub, he is voiced from one voice actor, but they do each form's voice differently, as you've heard before. Honestly I don't know why Funimation decide with that route, but most DBZ would agree that it fits with each of Cell's Forms.

2025-06-09 16:41:40 +0000 UTCPretty much, the show was saying that Vegeta ascended beyond Super Saiyan, SSJ Grade 2, and now they're telling us that Trunks found a level beyond ascended Super Saiyan. It won't spoil what it is or what it means, but when we first watched this, it's interesting to learn that Trunks somehow achieve much higher power than Vegeta could. But I don't know ;).
