2025-06-11 03:04:29 +0000 UTCI'm a little sad we got an English double take for Delta's scream, but not for her "1, 2, lots and lots!" line. It's my favorite line from her in this season. When Cid got slashed in front of Rose, it wasn't to give the protagonist a power boost, but simply because "The first person to die in a terrorist attack.. That role belongs to A BACKGROUND CHARACTER!" In the previous episode, right after the magic dampening is explained by Aurora, you can see Cid's eye is covered or closed in every scene after that. Glad you're loving the series. It's one of very few that I'll watch more than once.

The term "possessed" does not have a logical sense, and it's just a term that was made up for Church's propaganda to justify abducting them and it sticked. The "possessed" are just girl that have inherited demon blood from original test subjects (which happened centuries ago at least), and are mutating due to magic overload. When the magic overload is cured, it enhances all of the the girl's capabilities. Baldy called this process "awakening" in this episode right after Delta created a slime micro bikini.

2025-06-10 17:51:51 +0000 UTCI would pay attention to the lines when he starts "pulling" the sword the lines indicate that he is actually pushing the sword down bc like always he's concocted the "ideal story" in his head. So pulling the sword himself and breaking the chains was not the most epic end to his story.

2025-06-10 17:20:23 +0000 UTCCid Learned from when the Academy was attacked that Magic Draining Effects Such as the artifact Eye of Avarice that if he used a different frequency he could use his magic for Small thin attacks. Also, Cid's Grip was Breaking the Swords hilt because he was actually trying his most to be the Protagonist in the moment given the only person in the room who already knows his power was Aurora so he doesn't need to hide it. Great video again guys, i Do reckon will enjoy Overlord im just trying to get used to Dubbed for the Inner and Outer monologue for Momonga.

2025-06-10 17:17:14 +0000 UTCI don't think you're wrong. I just don't think that he was "hiding" his magic. During the attack on the school he figured out that he could "mold" his magic into thin enough strings that the device couldn't nullify his magic, and it's very likely that it's the same thing at the Sanctuary, he just kept his magic small enough that it wouldn't be nullified and he closed his eye both for dramatic effect and to have a focus point where he was able to gather as much magic as possible.

Also, there are something like 240+ seasons of anime airing each year. I have no doubt that there are plenty of popular ones you've never seen or even heard of before.
