And to be fair I did eventually finish the 1st season but it was a slog and not at all fun to watch imo. Overlord's Goblins are so much better than Goblin Slayer's Goblins.

2025-07-04 18:25:59 +0000 UTCI don't think the Anime ever specified this, but the Wise King of the Forest is actually female. And there is a reason he takes her out of the forest but that is spoiler reasons. Also she will appear now and again throughout the show so she isn't a forgotten character.

2025-07-04 17:04:28 +0000 UTCThe source of the goblins was explained in the episode. When Ainz first visited this village, he gave Enri (the girl) a couple horns that would summon goblins to her aid. During the encounter at the fence he then points out that these must be the result of the horn summoning.
