All he saw in season 2 was like “holy crap Eren can control titans” so he reported back to Marley what he saw, now Marleyan are shitting their pants because Eren could do it again. Hence this rally for the war declaration.

2025-07-09 22:08:44 +0000 UTCYmir left with Reiner and Bertholt for 2 reasons. 1, she realized that Erin had the founding Titan which meant Historia had a chance of surviving within the walls of Paradis. Sacrificing herself meant that Reiner and Bertholt could leave Historia alone. 2. She knew what Reiner and Bertholt were up against. She knew they weren't just some blood thirsty maniacs and what would happen to them if they returned empty handed. She was returning what she "took" from them in the first place.
