Gohan likes fighting but not life and death fights. He'll fight for fun

2025-07-26 22:24:53 +0000 UTCI believe Gohan to a small extent likes fighting, just nowhere near as much as Goku. Goku fights for sport, Gohan does it out of necessity. He’s fascinated by ki control and the martial arts but being put in situations like this he hates.

2025-07-23 16:55:35 +0000 UTCHe's not 10 times stronger lol, but he is definitely stronger. I actually think it shows Piccolo's growth, in the saiyan saga, he was more ruthless than Goku with Gohan. It was only through his friendship with Gohan and getting to know his new friend that he learned to be gentle with someone for the first time. Shit melts my heart lol. Also yes Piccolo fused with Kami and is definitely different, but I feel like his friendship with Gohan was one of the few things that never changed <3.

2025-07-21 22:54:54 +0000 UTCI've always been of the opinion that things like ki training and learning martial arts are fun to Gohan just as much as his studies, what he doesn't like is being put in death matches to where he needs to kill or be killed, and really only enjoys it once he snaps.

Goku said it best "We're nothing compared to Cell, we'd get ourselves killed." I do agree with Piccolo only on Goku underestimating how much his son doesn't want to fight. Vegeta, Goku, Gohan & Chichi are the most misunderstood anime characters in history
