This is my favorite OP protag anime so I wanted to provide some context that is provided in the light novels by this point: Ainz, including all the floor guardians, are level 100. For reference, Hamusuke (who is exalted by the humans as a legendary creature) is slightly above level 30. Ainz's favorite spell, grasp heart (which he used when he first appeared in Carne Village), is lvl 9 and most humans believe anything above lvl 6 is a myth. All this to say: everything and everyone they've met up until now is essentially starting area level in an MMO while they are all fully decked out top level bosses. However, they don't know where a truly powerful opponent or even player may suddenly appear from so they're playing everything super carefully and methodically. Hope this brings the power scaling a bit more into perspective and you guys continue to enjoy the anime! :)

That scene with Shasuryu reflecting on his fallen allies and gaining the strength to deal a final blow to the lich was classic. What Ainz gains from this is still a mystery...
