It's Character!lee (essentially what I remember before I go to the wiki to double check) messing up. I thought it was killed, not just beat hard enough to stop rampaging, so Vejovis believes that, lacking any resource to check (and with Herb just skimming when he said he read it, it's really just his memory he has to rely on). Same with Phir Se.

2021-03-12 17:58:19 +0000 UTCI'm curious, would the mistakes character!Lee made while mentioning what happened in canon have been result of him misremembering it, author!lee misremembering, or would they be intentionally differences from canon? (the specific mistakes I'm thinking of is that he said Khonsu got killed a week after appearing when canonically he was still around at Gold Morning, and possibly the claiming that Phir Se is a tinker, though I might be wrong in thinking that wasn't the case in canon)
