I believe we are agreeing on at least something, based on that last sentence. I was more referencing my lack of understanding as to why the knowledge is suppressed. Other than that, I would be interested to hear your answer on the heteromorph question. I am not disagreeing that Sero's actions that led to his loss were out of character, just that his reasoning is understandable, given the information he had and his lack of experience. The gas-mask villain showed exactly the type of quirk over brawn style that someone would associate with a gas/poison quirk user.

2021-10-24 05:43:04 +0000 UTCThere's bits in Season 3 where he's on par with Canon Denki in perviness, and Sero's personality (what little of it we see) could be summed up as snark, arrogance, and a little bit of jealousy, but he rarely talks. It isn't really fair to judge him based on his loss, but he started to dig his own grave with the heroines by going 'but she's just a girl'. Also, remember the Atlas Quirk is not something that's well known by most people outside the Hero community.

2021-10-22 10:46:16 +0000 UTCNot really fair to give Sero the short end of the stick for something that even, in universe, doesn’t add up. We’ve already established that the ‘Atlas’ quirk isn’t common knowledge due to ‘reasons’. Added to that, we clearly don’t see an indication that increased muscle mass correlates positively with overall physique, nor is there a clear gradient. Mirko looks cut, but is above safe-level Midoriya (mini-Might), so there’s plenty of ambiguity. Also, is there a common perception, true or otherwise, that heteromorphs are above the norm in strength? Altogether, it isn’t unreasonable, but perhaps not exactly smart, for Sero to assume that the hero famous for her knockout-gas quirk isn’t a physical monster. This seems an excuse to pile on a character who we’ve never seen act inappropriately around or to women, certainly on Mineta’s level.
