Well, that's what this fic feels like it has been turning into since Leviathan. Not dropping the story or anything, but it definitely breaks my suspension of disbelief and I feel like for a while now the tone has been slowly sliding from dark but believable to bordering on grimderp. I'll probably stick around until the end at this point, but I definitely haven't liked the story post encounter with the S9 as much as I liked it before. But that last complaint is more of a personal taste thing even if you did change the tone of your story hundreds of thousands of words into the story which I generally consider a bad thing to do.
