I did a quick search and I didn't find anything. Isn't it preferable if Pyrrha becomes the successor for the Fall Maiden's power? I think that MC should have waited a bit before he choose to give Ozpin more of his blood. Mostly to give him a pause to think it through. Not to decline him or anything but to not be caught up in Ozpin's talk flow. I'm a bit concerned that he doesn't give enough reasons to give Ozpin more of his blood. But then later Oz said he was sorry and thankful for his help. So I guess it turned to be alright.
