To be fair the bad guys could have just chosen to attack them after they are all exhausted, or on a different day. Or migh have something even worst planned. Being a hero is stressful as a lot of the time you react to bad guys acting and till they spring their plan all you can do is wait a prep for every situation you can think of. Which can be stressful if you are expecting something to go wrong but it hasn’t yet or you are constantly expecting an attack. Alternatively they could be playing the long con to try and convince Daiki to join them, since they claimed that the I-island was an independent person. Then again they can do the same thing now.

It would of been perfect for a classic "and then everything went to hell" kind of cliff-hanger, but because of all the tension I'm still expecting an attack at the the start of the next update. Very enjoyable and I'm glad that my expectations were subverted during this update.
