Yeah, that was me, the writer, spacing out. Good catch! I forgot I slotted him into the role Canon Denki filled in the first movie, which is a bit of problem when you start doing the 'Canon, but subtly not' thing (which will be less of an issue the more things change). I'll give Aoyama the line instead, but make it psuedo-french, because Aoyama.

And, dude, what was that?” At my look he held up both arms, miming me firing. “The same thing you’ve seen me do before, but scaled up,” I shrugged, realizing he hadn’t seen me go all out before.] Denkifer is literally saying here that Sero hasn't seen him go all out, when he's loaded him quite literally going all out. Sero also being in 1A has seen Denkifer's arm railcannon debut during the apprehension test and would probably have seen the Devil's Horn's hand railcannon. One of these two is being refrenced by Denkifer when he claims Sero hasn't seen him go all out. Either this is Denkifer saying that Sero is so forgettable that he literally forgot Sero loaded max power railcannon or this is the writer forgeting Sero. If its the former, thats fucking funny, if its the latter then I want to make sure something doesn't accidentally get retconed or something. But from the context, it seems likely to be the latter of the two.

Maybe you meant for it to be someone else but got mixed up? Unless I myself am missing something.

2023-01-28 14:31:50 +0000 UTCIf you're referring to the Snake, it's an explosion in that it's an eruption, not a true detonation, and the chamber they're in is both large and lined with tunnels, which would also help. If you're referring to the shockers, it was small enough to not be a true issue, combined with Anime Protag Hardiness (tm).

Not nearly as dangerous as underwater but if there is a shockwave it will propagate something like three times as far through tunnels and that’s dangerous if it’s enough to kill a man, breaking the sound barrier will probably deafen everybody as it reverberates through the confined space, I’m pretty sure it’s part of the reason old mines have so many turns in them instead of just Minecraft strip mining
