I knew that the storyline is hard to change especially because of the soft target the camp represented to the villains. Yet like a master magician you turned my attention away with an original story arc that seemed to replace the original Camp story arc. You made me think that this would just be a training ark, a way for you to flex your creative muscles by creating original content and giving known and beloved characters added depth with the inevitable attack kicked down the road. Now the action sequence that I should have seen coming and just been waiting in anticipation for caught me by complete surprise and I feel shocked terrified and giddy all at the same time. If you haven't already a bow for this one, especially because you are able to time it with such a large Landmark chapter.

2023-04-12 19:49:27 +0000 UTCI know you've said we're hopping worlds in like t-minus ten chapters or so, but we're basically using MHA as a hub world in this story yeah? Because boy I'll desperately want you to return as soon as possible. If we don't come back for a while, Eri and the deleter rounds might be a whole thing and that thought makes me very uncomfortable inside, especially since Denkifer probably doesn't know any better. I imagine at least half a classes worth is dropping, either through death, severe injury or being pulled from the school, so I won't be surprised if it just becomes one big class in the end. My main wonder for the story right now would have to be the suddeness of it all. No blue flames on the horizon? No mustard gas in the distance? No earth golemns running amuck to defend the students? No Mandaly letting the kids know whats up? What about the heroes that were hired? Honestly, the Mustard brat might be a big threat here. Set him up at the base camp and have him Quirk it up? Yeah, the teachers and pussycats might all be unconcious. Throw Dabi on top of it and they might be dead. Losing Aizawa as an asset would be a serious blow to the heroes. Deku's pretty close to unlocking Black Whip or maybe another power, Danger Sense making the most sense given the situation. And if its the more obvious Black Whip, that's gonna be a whole thing that blindsides Denkifer so hard to the point he might kill Deku himself on instinct. I can't wait to see the various match ups and how stuff spins out, because there are loads of possibilities and so little information on the table right now. With certainty, I can say that you will not write this fast enough to sate me. I am in too deep. Amazing work.

I dont think that would stop denkifer from killing her at all, since the love confession doesn't have stamp effects in this variant, but her being insane and fickle shouldn't stop the love capture effect from registering her confession as 'genuine' by company standards

Kids died, and a place like Japan (unlike others, that means something. They protect their children, so the hammer is straight up when I drop on them.

Or Momo deciding to put her feelings out there when she faced with death so close to her. It is very common for such situations to make people confront their emotions. Anyway the reason I bring this up is because the timeline might have changed enough to allow world travel. Deaths of multiple people who are within close proximity of the main canon plot will do that. The stance that they will take against the bad guys will be a lot harsher and things will change drastically from canon. Plus he really needs a place we’re he can grow stronger away from All for One’s sphere of influence.

Even Pixie-Bob realized she fucked up and is trying to be nicer (Letting Denki collect himself after obviously having a PTSD episode before continuing the exercise). To excuse the absolute BS we see in Canon, the explanation I'm running with is the Pussycats normally run their training camp for Pro Hero Teams, and are taking some things up to eleven to try and have the kids have fun, but while some of them 'Spooky Stories with a side of Hero Workshopping' Work, some don't. And, if they didn't get invaded by Villains, it'd all be fine, if a little ill-advised. The problem is they're not dealing with a normal Villain Org, they're dealing with QUIRK SATAN, and are not expecting the absolute SHITSTORM that's about to drop on their heads, just like they didn't expect it in Canon, only WORSE.

If I what it sounds like only the beginning. Also, I'm going to need you to give the MC some phantom thieves powers for the donut so he can start shouting Captain Kidd and talk about shitty adults. Because good Lord of these adults outside of Aizawa aren't passing around persona 5 levels of douchebaggery adults. It's only right that he has the skill set to go along with it. Anyways, I foresee a major shift happening in class 1a in the survivors of 1b, thinking about the public apology that happened in Cannon.... Well that's just a drop in the bucket of what's going to occur this round. There is actual corpses to be found rather than some beat up kids and villains being attacked back. We got death on both sides. Things, are going to be more hectic than natural later version of Canon.

2023-04-05 04:41:22 +0000 UTCWhat’s it called when a group of overconfident “expert trainers” do things (which, retrospectively, can be spun for horrid PR e.g. drugging kids, doubly so when a simple alternative exists and seems obvious when you hear it) that directly contribute to multiple children dying horribly in a terrorist attack they had an entire week’s notice of, after actively overruling the children’s nominative guardians? Manslaughter? Deriliction of duty? Endangerment of a child? Aiding and abetting terrorism? Willful negligence? Murder? I’m sure there’ll be all this and more discussed on the news. After all, the pro hero school can’t be the ones responsible for the tragedy, so it must have been the dastardly pro heroes who were secretly villains or something.

2023-04-05 04:37:02 +0000 UTCYah, makes sense. They are split apart and may have even been attacked while still drugged or while recovering from the effects of the drug. Also the bad guys would have had at least 30 minutes to chive their targets based good counters. Or at least make sure they aren’t countered. The A-1 students will have a slightly higher chance of survival since they have more training and live action experience. But it’s not enough for everyone. Some will have a higher chance of escaping or surviving. Ida can probably escape if he abandons others or takes one person with him. Jiro will have an easier time escaping due to hearing them coming (once she loses they are real enemies). Todaroki could probably encase himself and others in an ice fortress depending on his enemy. Invisagirl can just hide. The girl who splits apart would also have an easier time hiding. I am probably missing a few. Bakugo is a tricky one. One one hand he got really good training in his internship, on the other hand he is unlikely to run and leave his team to die. So if his opponent is a bad matchup and his team is weak he might end up dying protecting them even though he could have survived on his own.

What he can do is learn a revival magic and restore her. There are a few settings with items or magic that can restore the dead. Not sure if he is I’ll though. But it’s definitely possible.

2023-04-05 02:53:27 +0000 UTCWhen you can look at people who were supposed to be on top of things and whos mistakes or lack of action have caused terrible loss, you never really want to be able to say "I told you so." because any little bit of satisfaction is drowned out, rightfully so, by the loss. I do hope that part of the fallout from this is that the Pussycats and Vlad have their teaching credentials and ability to be anything but the very specific type of Hero they are is revoked with extreme backlash. Poor Komori. Makes me wonder if after the bloodbath that's coming he can go back and stamp her head so that eventually, someday, she can get resed/warrantied for another chance.

The teacher in charge of my mentor group in HighSchool told me I should drop out of school and just work at McDonald’s because I was struggling in English class, even though I had good marks in all my other classes. Up till that point I had never written an easy in English in my life. And even in Arabic the format was different and I wasn’t well instructed in that either. But instead of explaining what I did wrong (I only realised years later she told me this because of my English score) she told me off. She didn’t offer me to do ESL (English as a Second Language) and I didn’t even know that was an option. She didn’t inform me of how to get better or provide resources. She just said I was crap and should accept that. A skill I picked up within a few weeks at university due to a helpful lab instructor. On the side of really well done on the villain attack, it makes no sense for no one to die when they are ambushed at night by people that aren’t just one off characters. Specially since this isn’t the golden timeline as you put it in your other stories. I reckon mer people will die or be seriously injured. And this means the Heroes will take a much firmer stance against the bad guys than they did in canon. Same for the Hero Commission. The printable will be much more forceful in finding where the leak came from, and that guy is scary. And Aizawa will probably feel like this was a personal failure on his part, since if he tried to force the issue even when overruled he might have been able to save them. I hope that the next chapter on your rotation is MHA as that is one hell of a cliffhanger. And finally congratulations on reaching the 100 chapter mark with this story, looking forward to seeing more :)

A quirk that is seemingly week from the face of it, too. If more of his kids die, especially having been sent out drugged and unready, I think he'll be blaming himself.
