Black Dog of Misfortune.

Love it, and the reminder that quirk Satan is both experienced and Good at what he does is likely a sobering one for everyone involved.

Prospero

As much as I love Rambo Denkifier, it seems kinda strange for him to suddenly snap NOW and stop thinking through his actions and surroundings at the exact right moment to get caught. I can excuse it though because he was clearly running off adrenaline and panic upon noticing Mina in a deadly situation.

So a thought occurs to me, in the version of the WC that is used for this story the pocket dimension comes with workshops for anything you know how to make. Danki is the one with the most exposure to high tech stuff and how to make them due to the support equipment stuff. Jace is the smartest from the start but he was not given access to knowledge (outside of what he personally knows or picked up in basic) so he can innovate. Which means when Danki gets access to his pocket dimension he can fuck shit up with massive explosives. Or just use thermite to melt the cage and walk out. And he can avoid the explosion by entering his portal. I can’t remember if he would have access to his phone inside the home since he would be able to use that to call for help, also not sure if he has enough knowhow to make an anti-signal jammer.

The Camp is the reason i dropped $10 for this.

Indeed, though I feel bad for the little guy. He finally got a girl that was showing interest and she got chopped up.

Give it up for mineta! 👏👏👏 little man stepped up and showed what a hero he is.

Well we just finished what I'm calling the slaughter arc, and Lee has said that we are going to jump worlds in another three to four chapters.

"but it was clear the extreme Heteromorph who ran the institution was used to modern rules, and had not realized how compromised the system he served truly was." Well this could mean computer systems my bet is on some of the pro Heroes turning traitor. I also liked the trap with Toga. I saw coming because I knew it was too much to Butterfly her way but I think that even if the main character remembered her and her powers he wouldn't have acted any differently. The possibility of AfO targeting Pinky is just too real to discount, and in a situation where fractions of a second count there was no other option but to act.

Interesting chapter, I liked the charecterization that the different people are getting, everyone feel alive, like they are growing as people. Great job! Also great job on showing is a villain that actually has a point, don’t get me wrong he is messed up and I would place good money on AfO setting everything up. On the other hand he isn’t wrong about how corrupt and messed up the current system is. Especially if he helped set it up, seeing how corrupted it is now would be a nasty gut check. Now he is going about trying to “fix” it in the worst way possible but at least you have us an interesting viewpoint! Now as for the capture part, I’m not sure how I feel. Initially I find it contrived and kind of plot baity, but I will reserve my judgment until we get another chapter or two. It feels kinda of contrived that Toga of all people got some of Mina’s blood and managed to bait Denki that easily but it looks like there was something almost, influencing(?), Denki. Either way I hope the wait for the next chapter isn’t as long as this one was. I like a good cliff hanger every once in a while but your using them a bit much this arc.

Yeah, sorry to jump on the complaining train. But, I have not been a fan of this arc let alone the training Arc. I really do enjoy the story but when it hits the station of the Cross moments and then expands upon them and definitely you're really kills one motivation to read. And now we have our MC being captured and have the dose of ramification of all that. I missed the fluffy slice of light moments with Mina, building zany and fun inventions with Mei and flustering and confusing the adorkable Momo. These heaps and heaps of split point of views, long stretch of the same training missions and now the heaps of character death.... Are just... A lot.

Ugh, this whole arc has been overly long and annoying to read through. I just hope there something better on the other side to justify it, but I'm not optimistic. It sucks, because I've really enjoyed this story up until this last arc, which has killed my enthusiasm for it.

Well shit. This is not good. Welp anxiety continues to rise a la discontent from frostpunk. Look forward to the conclusion of this cluster fuck and the reactions. Hope Denki opens up to the survivors and just takes more people along for training to capitalize in the dimensional shenanigans. They will need it.
