Monks: Not Agile but extremely powerful, needs time to set up attacks. Essentially the artillery battery. Samurai: Strong as fuck can bulldoze through Jutsu through sheer physical might. Basically Tanks Ninja: Agile, adaptable. And not particularly exceptional at anything but not bad at anything. Sneaky enough to fight and shank monks. Basically Special Forces you drop in.

Like we got all the training she puts her students through and got them to experience D rank mission just for the experience before going back to teaching. Then before they got pulled into this mission she was looking to get might gal so they could even out their training and planning to take them to get bloody with bandits. Like anko take her job as a jounin sensei very serious. edit : also while they were gunning it to get to naruto squad and tiring themselves anko put up the tents for the squad. sensei like kakashi would of told them to put it up themselves while still that tired.

2023-06-27 10:31:57 +0000 UTCGonna be honest, I always hated how Haku and Zabouzu got treated in the story. They’re a major inspiration for Naruto and supposedly bad ass and then got done dirty by Kishimoto. Hopefully we get some serious bad ass scenes from them, I kind of want them to live and get even better just because I always liked them as characters more than a lot of the other characters in the series. That’s just my personal bias so you do what you will author.

2023-06-27 08:51:27 +0000 UTCI see that the Hell Butterfly Li had playing messenger decided to flap at canon on it's way past, bravo. Sad about my guess on the message content but it makes sense in context. Hopefully this will become a wakeup call both for Ren/Sato, and Sakura/Sasuke with the stakes and intentions of their teammates / teachers. Also, the trauma flashback should be a kick to the head for cyclops that might point him in the right direction for Li and Anko to shove. All in all very excited for more, and high anticipations for Haku and Zabuza.

The thing about Hidan is that while deadly his threat rating mostly comes for 2 things! His healing and his ability to link himself to another and share injuries (probably a soul link). Both things Li can no sell. So Hidan would not have a fun time. But it wouldn’t be an easy fight either since his still stronger than Li. But unlike every other S-Rank threat Hidan is severally hampered against the company defences and a soul cutting sword.

Also, always enjoy seeing a breakdown of your interpretation of samurai, Monk and ninja. The bit about rock paper scissors at the end really added a nice little touch.
