2024-07-21 02:22:00 +0000 UTCI mean, on the one hand he created a whole creepypasta Lost Episode deal, so you'd think that would be worth at least a couple of extra points. Or at least the fact he got the ambiance to shift on him to at least just "be normal." On the other hand, that wasn't his job. He did learn how to keep the narrative locked on him, though. He could maybe try doing things more in line with the goofy plots going on and trying to inject a Bewitched vibe to shift things for points, now that he knows big changes will fail.

2024-07-19 23:29:50 +0000 UTCThink of it as a stage play, if one of the actors suddenly blows up on stage in front of all the other ones and the audience, then the play is ‘cancelled’ because something too upsetting has happened for things to go on as normal. Lee intended to kill the President from the beginning, but realized after the fact that he ‘went too hard’. If he tried and FAILED in a way that could be spun around, that would be something different. Something salvageable. But he succeeded, meaning the audience, the main characters, they all witnessed something that shifted the tone too much to continue airing, ergo, ‘collapsing’ the narrative. And the world, by extent. Until they literally reset the status quo.

Though I am curious why Lee's plan "failed so sucessfully", I thought he was just going for a "failed assassination", and what exactly can he even do in his situation...
