2024-09-11 22:45:39 +0000 UTCSo, remember, originally Aang slipped through after the Sages, bluffed that he was already inside (bombs didn't work but left behind soot), opened the door for him. At that point Katara and Sokka, then eventually Zuko, were captured without an issue and chained to the pillars, helpless until 'Roku' showed up, burned the chains off them wihtout harming them, and blew up his own Temple, so there was no point that the Gaang actually fought the Sages, or Zhao, or his soldiers at all. This is, like what happened in MHA, Dencifer 'helping' and accidentally making something 10x worse, because we're off the golden road of Canon.
