Good chapter, my initial thought was that Momo was being quite naïve. Then I had to adjust my brain for 16-year-old living in modern Japan with superpowers who also had a very insulated childhood. It makes sense in that context and works in the story. I’m putting this here for anyone else that had that moment of cognitive dissonance When they were reading Momos thoughts.

I honestly thought that we would get a confession from Momo for a moment there. Yes I know she hasn't been as expressive in her feelings as Mina, but the phrase it's always the quiet ones exists for a reason.

Hello, not going to lie you got me scared there for a moment at the end there. I don't know if I've been reading too much Worm fic recently. But, I had a brief worry that you might have the driver gas the section she was in and then we go on a kidnap arc again. Glad that wasn't done.
