Paul obviously isn't thinking or trying to be a better person, but he had just enough personal warrior's honor to clear the murder him in his sleep bar. But yeah, it tracks. 99% of the time when given a choice between being a better or worse version of themselves people will choose to be worse.

2024-11-07 03:19:09 +0000 UTCIt essentially was, but I wrote that long before I ever saw the WC or posted on QQ, so it's more like the Ur-Leecifer, where I took the same concept from AB, aged him up a bit, and tried to do the same thing with RWBY and MHA, only to discover that people really liked it, and so I just kept going. As for taking Paul's... apology, there was a very, very low minimum acceptable level he needed to hit for Rudecifer to be fine with it, and that qualified, barely, hence the Clarification.

2024-11-07 02:57:34 +0000 UTCso...random question but something that entered my head and is making more sense as i read AB...is that the "First" iteration of the cifers? i'm only on chapter 111 but it seems like it'd make sense for the AB protagonist to get killed/betrayed by his home dimension friends and family, possibly losing Taylor and Amy in the process, then getting "trapped" in the spider's web and agreeing to surrender his memories in order to save others. it could also serve as a...i guess Lore reason for why your Catalog characters never touch Worm again. i'm also surprised with how you took Paul's...apologizes, i always saw Zenith as a bit of a pushover when it came to Paul's wishes, the only time i remember having a real spine was when she and the maid found out they were pregnant.
