2025-02-03 23:43:48 +0000 UTCRereading this, I had an interesting thought. The rest of the world is running on anime and rule of cool logic. The protagonist and his team are running on dark souls logic. As long as they survive long enough, they can just continuously accumulate power and can kill anything if they work hard enough. The rest of the world has to go through shoen-esc power ups. It will be hilarious to see the reports to all of this. Also, I’m hoping that we get to see more flushed out side characters such as the rest of the beacon crew getting more backstory, same with Oz, the Atlas group, and more.

Part of me figures it wasn’t talking about Salem, as I think from the Nevermore behemoth chapter that they’re not really influenced by her (might be misremembering, been a while since I read that chapter). Wonder if the “her”is another force hidden on Remnant…or if the Grimm caught a whiff of the out-of-context-bullshit that is the Company and Jaune’s former contract holder (who screwed him over). Can’t wait to learn more and find out how the team ups their arsenal. Thanks again for the chapter!!

Fight scene can be hard to follow but I've read the rest of this and the my hero story and that isn't usually the case so I feel like it was a little intentional? Idk. Can't wait for more.
