I can just imagine the storm spirit looking at the cute couple of souls and going "Aww, look and the widdle baby spirits. Here, have some candy for trying so hard."

It started with me thinking that the gift from the storm spirit might let them dance up a literal storm as it is theoretically possible even if outside the norm and spirits have been known to expand bending powers beyond what is standard. Then my brain was off thinking when that would be relevant and was like hay that would be a great way to deal with the siege of the North Pole. But they probably wouldn’t be able to call up a storm big enough to sink that many ships with just the two of them. By the end my brain had conjured up a scene where they have managed to create a storm but it is not nearly enough and in their efforts to strengthen it they end up with a much more aggressive and sexually charged version ( definitely inspired by that description of the lightning half of that dance being more of a stalking motion) to get a more violent storm. At that point I realized my brain had gone off way too much on that chapter which is usually an indication it was pretty dang good.
