Chapter 68: From Eggs to Hatchlings

The late afternoon light filtered through the dense canopy of trees like molten embers, igniting the moss-carpeted forest floor with flickering patches of gold as the orange sun continued on its journey west. A warm summer breeze stirred through the leaves, setting them ablaze with dappled brilliance as they whispered and crackled overhead.

Such was not lost on the people who stood outside the building, an extended house, storage, and office for the Wild Wild Pussycats. But for Vlad, Ragdoll, and Tiger, while the sights and sounds were something to be discussed, they were looking towards the darkened treeline. They couldn't see far into it, but they knew that their students should be arriving any minute now.

Ragdoll's wide eyes, however, could easily pierce through the darkness and shadows, as she had already seen the students. Her eyes seemed to dart to and fro, quickly picking up movements. Giggling into her gloves, she called out, "And here come some tired kittens."

“So they finally decided to show up?" Tiger crossed his arms as the three heroes, who had trained and pushed their senses to the limits over to keep track of opponents and locate those in need; it didn't take long for them to hear the students approach before they saw them.

True to Ragdoll's statement, they could make out the students as they forced themselves to keep moving. It was apparent that none of them were in top shape after their little 'trip' over and down a mountain and then through a muddy, dense, and near impossible-to-navigate forest.

The first one they saw was Tokage, the girl tired, dirty, half asleep as she dragged herself forward like a zombie, a part of her torso and both arms missing. Midoriya came next, and similarly, he was half dead on his feet, Koharu wrapped around him, absolutely drained as Midoriya walked with his arms on his stomach, having burned through his breakfast hours ago. Following him was Kodai, who, for once, was emotive, and that was exhaustion as she could barely keep one eye open. Fukidashi was next, the boy’s speech bubble face switching between !, I? and :<.

The rest weren’t any better. Kaibara’s hands were twitching from how often he used his quirk, even against rock and wood. Kendo was in a similar spot; she tried to message one hand, but the other was just as sore. Tetsutetsu's shirt was just gone, exposing a bruised and battered body. Tsunotori had no horns, having exhausted them and forced to use 2 she carried in her hands. Tsuburaba looked short of breath, and this was learning on Shiozaki for help to keep moving, the typically long-haired girl sporting a pixie cut, her vines so short she couldn’t stretch them to shoulders if she wanted to.

Eventually, they all pulled themselves out of the woodwork and forced their bodies to move the rest of the way to about the midway point between the treeline and the building before they promptly collapsed, feeling as terrible as they looked.

Tiger told them they should be able to get back at 12, and they had been made to start at roughly 9:30 AM; they had well-blown past that as it was 5:10 PM.

"You said…it was meant to be three hours…" Kaibara hissed out. His hands and feet felt like they were about to fall off.

“Yup, we based it on how long it would take us to finish the trip!” Ragdoll’s response lacked any guilt over what they had been put through.

“How cruel to use our first exercise to demonstrate your superiority over us.” Shiozaki admonished, but she was too tired to put anything into it.

“I need food…when’s dinner?” Midoriya moaned, his face to the dirt, Koharu lying on his back and looking just as miserable.

"Chin up, kitten! When 2PM came and went, we assumed it'd be at least 6PM by the time you arrived. Look at you, having managed it while it's still sun out!" Tiger called out, and the man was pleased with them, seeing how they all got here despite how exhausted they must all be. He was worried they'd need to send someone to pick someone up a few times, but the class rallied each time.

"We watched the entire time, and we all were fantasy, but the green star goes to you, the green heads, and one adorable pony!" Ragdoll pointed towards Midoriya, Tokage, Tsunotori, and Kamakiri before she jumped forward, wrapping them all in a hug that seemed too big for her arms, but somehow, she managed.

“Get off me!” Kamakiri tried pushing her off, but he was tired, and she was a lot stronger than she looked.

Tired…I need some keratin supplements and Sweet Potato Casserole; it's weird not having horns!” Tsunotori didn't even fight it; she just wanted something in her stomach, as her head felt…light without the horns.

“So sleepy…need food.” Midoriya groaned, even as Ragdoll pressed her fingers into his face and toyed with his head, the boy practically an oversized doll for Ragdoll to play with.

"Yes, carry me. I've been a good kitty cat," Tokage added, smiling. But when she couldn't use her arms, she didn't see the point in putting up a fight. Besides, Ragdoll was warm enough that she could fall asleep on her chest.

Vlad looked towards Tiger. This was the second time today Ragdoll seemed overly interested in that particular group of his students. “Should I be worried about that?”

Tiger shook his head. “Not really, she’s always been an odd little extrovert. It’s part of her charm.” Now, suppose it was Pixie-bob fawning over Kamakiri and Midoriya. In that case, he'd be worried as she's been in a mood lately, wanting a mate and having both little time or luck with dating.

"No…I need food…" Midoriya tried wiggling free of Ragdoll but was well versed in holding unruly kittens. She crackled like a mad woman, her wide-eyed smile growing all the more…eccentric.

"Oh, you'll get it, but first, I gotta hug each and every one of you greenies.” She cooed as even Kamakiri stopped fighting and accepted his fate as this grown woman's plaything.

Vlad would have let Ragdoll have her fun, but it was late enough as is, so he clapped his hands to draw the class's attention. "All right, you should fall. Grab your things off the truck; it got here around 11 and is around back.” He pointed towards the back of the building, where they could barely make out a truck's shape. “Rooms have been split by gender; it should be easy to determine which is which. When you're done with that, we'll have dinner. Looks like you need it."

“And you shouldn’t stay up too late. We have a lot of work to do tomorrow, which makes today seem like a kitten party!" Ragdoll chirped as she effortlessly picked up the downed Midoriya and Tokage, snuggling with them like oversized cats and dragging them toward the truck, the rest following suit like they were wearing concrete shoes.

“Great…”

Line break

"Yes, glorious food!" Tokage laughed. Once they grabbed their things—Tokage needed help with that—they had found their rooms, thrown their stuff in, and made their way to the cafeteria, where they found seats for all of them, but more importantly, a massive spread of food.

"Please sit still so I can actually feed you." Kamakiri groaned as he held up a bowl of rice, and the boy held up a spoonful of the stuff for the still-armless Tokage to eat.

"Oh, you do care." She fluttered her eyelashes at him, to which he returned the look with a dry, exhausted one.

"I will literally drop this." She gasped dramatically at the notion before pouting and letting him feed her. She'll need the calories to regrow her arms, and while romantic, she wasn't really a fan of this when she had no other choice.

"It would have been better if Midoriya had been feeding you, but…" Tsunotori, who was enjoying her second plate of Sweet Potato Casserole, started, the table turning its attention to Midoriya and Koharu.

“First goes in the egg, then we get the chicken breast, and finally we get some nice meaty pork fillet.” Midoriya smiled as he Koharu each beforementioned pace, the egg being a lone one out as it was already cooked, boiled to be exact, and de-shelled. Koharu was seemingly happy with the food, and as she swallowed that group, Midoriya turned his own 3 servings.  “And for me, the same but cooked! We even have fish!”

He had 5 scrambled eggs topped with spicy chili and cheese on the one. On the other hand, he grabbed a serving of tori katsu with a side of cabbage and tonkatsu sauce. Followed by a bowl of katsudon and, lastly, a plate of Tara no Misozuke

"He's a little busy right now," Tsunotori noted as Midoriya happily ate bites from each of his plates, letting out what were admirable, adorable hisses of satisfaction before he turned his attention back to Koharu to make sure she would also get some.

“At this point,” Monoma said, placing his half-finished plate of hire katsu down. I'm going to need to start having a larger breakfast if I plan to keep copying yours and his quirks. If I had to go another hour without food, I might have digested my own stomach." He looked towards Tokage and Midoriya as he said that, as their quirks were calorie sinks.

"Not possible," Kendo noted, to which Monoma scoffed.

“Says the girl stuffing her face.” He called out, as she had already finished a stacked bowl of rice and was now chopping through a bowl of oyakodon.

Kendo paused midway from placing another piece of chicken into her mouth when she glared at Monoma. “You want a chop?”

“Why yes, I would happily take another serving of Jingisukan.” Monoma joked, getting some chuckles from the rest of the table, as they wouldn't have thought Kendo was serious about it.

“More, I need more!”  Tetsutetsu slammed his empty bowl onto the table, specks of rice still around his mouth, as he locked onto a large plate where well-done pieces of beef had been placed. "Pass me that meat. I need iron, and I need it now!"

Tsunotori passed him something she was more familiar with and wanted him to enjoy. “Here, try some Chicken‑and‑Spinach Stuffed Sweet Potatoes. Plenty of iron, and it's delicious." He looked at the plate, hesitant, but when he smelled it, he dived right in.

“Thank you!”

"Hmm! You all might just shame the pride of lions with how much you're packing away. Didn't you all eat breakfast?" Ragdoll asked, the woman carrying another few large plates with food to replace the ones that had been emptied. The class wasn't holding back as even the typically tiny eater, Shiozaki, had taken a large serving of lamb cutlet with yuzu kosho with a salad.

Midoriya, having already finished his fish, looked towards Ragdoll with a bright smile of gratitude, his energy already on the rise. If he had a tail, she was convinced it would be waving around. "It's all so good, so flavourful; the meat is spiced just right and melts like butter on the tongue."

“Thanks, you learn a few tricks here and there on the job.” Ragdoll accepted the compliment.

‘What part of hero work requires you to know how to cook?’ Tsuburaba and Yanagi asked themselves.

“Well, enjoy it while you can, my little kitties! Because this is the first and last time we’re cooking for you!” With that, Ragdoll set the plates down, grabbed the empty ones, and turned and left to return to the kitchen. They'll need to make sure everything is cleaned quickly. Tiger hated seeing the sink have dirty dishes.

After they had their fill, some more than others, class B went for a much-needed bath. The girls went to one side and the boys to the other. Maybe it was because of the semester of training already. Still, they were all out around the same time and surprisingly ran into class A. The two learn that they'll be sharing the hot springs space. “Wait, you guys had to climb the mountain?” Kaminari asked Tsuburaba, the boys relaxing wither in or around the edges of the hot spring, wearing towels around their waists but nothing else.

"A mountain. I'm pretty sure they're saving the big one for when training kicks off properly." Tsuburaba relaxed in the water, blowing bubbles as he tried to calm himself before the next day came.

"What about you? We didn't see you and assumed you got dumped somewhere else," Kaibara asked, to which Ojiro let out an exhausted laugh.

"Dumped is underselling it; we got thrown off the cliff and into the forest. We had to fight our way through Pixie-bob's dirt monsters." His tail was still a little sore from it. Not because those dirt monsters were especially tough but because of just how much of them they had been.

"All because Sero here couldn't keep his big mouth shut," Sato muttered. Sero, in response, turned on him, down with that little joke.

“I told you! I was trying to compliment her!”

Tokoyami, seated at chest level in the water with another towel on his head, crossed his arms. "Oh yes, she responded well to your words. Why else would she have been so determined to put us through our paces?"

“What did he say?” Honenuki asked, as whatever this was sounded serious, and if he had been honest, he would have assumed Mineta or Bakugo had said something out of pocket.

"Better we not repeat it, else she somehow hears it," Kaminari stated.

“I hate you guys. So very much.” Sero sulked, moving towards Midoriya, nearly completely submerged, with his face out of the water. The boy looked content, nearly asleep.

“What’s Mineta doing over there?” Fukidashi pointed. Some of the boys spotted Mineta being unusually close to the dividing wall between their side and the girls, where they could vaguely make out some of their conversation.

“Yo, Mineta! The hot spring not hot enough for you?" Kaminari called out.

“I can fix that.” Midoriya offered, to which Monoma and the rest of class B paled, looking like they'd bolt out of the water before they were steam-boiled.

“Same.” That look of panic spread to some in class A as Todoroki lifted a hand and let a small fire form in his palm.

Mineta didn't react to them, not when his mind was focused on what lay beyond this mere construct of bamboo and rope. "It's not that. The food and hot springs are all good, but I'm thirsty for something else?"

Midoriya, a little groggy, rose from the water and looked confused towards Mineta. “Like…a cup of juice?”

When he looked towards Sero, who was hesitant to respond, Todoroki looked as lost as Midoriya. “He could have just asked for more at dinner, couldn’t he?” Maybe he was scared, as he did piss himself earlier during their battle through the beast forest. But one needed to keep their fluids up, especially when you're as physically active as hero students.

"I don't think that's what he means," Shoji muttered as he glanced at some others, who caught on like he did to what could…would happen if not stopped. He felt pity for Mineta, as Shoji could hear the girls splashing around on the other side. For someone with as little restraint as Mineta, that might as well be a neon sign calling him.

It wouldn't hold up in court, and Aizawa-sensei would surely be less than amused when he learned about it. Still, Mineta was a special breed of horny idiot.

“Between me and heaven is this one little wall. A bath filled with boobs and babes." Mineta seemed lost to them, hugging the wall as if it would part for him and allow him and him alone entry.

"Boob and Mineta! That isn't heroic in the slightest!" Midoriya caught what the rest figured out and stood up, red-faced, out of second-hand embarrassment and outrage that Mineta would say something so…so…he shouldn't say that!

"It was stupid of them not to stagger the times when we would be using the hot springs. This is a golden chance I cannot let slip through my fingers," Mineta replied.

"Wouldn't be too hard with hands that small," Kaibara muttered, getting some chuckles from the rest. Class B already writing this dude off as if he wanted to perv on Shiozaki; he was welcome to try. He did not ask any of them for help when she caught him and punished him for it, never mind what Kendo or Tsunotori would do.

And that leaves out what Vlad would do when he learns about this.

“Your words may hurt, but they can never destroy me. And when I have such a bountiful sight awaited on the other side, I find myself empowered by boobs.” Mineta turned to them, a look of sage's enlightenment plastered on his face.

"That doesn't make any sense," Honenuki replied, but that comment was too much for Iida to take, as he had been silent for the most part, but no longer.

"Mineta! Cease this at once! Your perverted tendencies do nothing but bring dishonor to yourself, to the girls, and to U.A.!" Iida scolded as he marched through the water to retrieve Mineta and take him to the teachers to report his completely disrespectful comments. He would have thought he would have learned after Jiro near-pocked out his eye and his final match against Midnight, but it seemed not.

“Shame is for the ignorant. This is why I have this quirk.” Mineta shot back as he gripped one of his balls. "It's because walls are meant to be climbed!" Turning out, he started to climb the wall, using his balls as both hand and footholds. His training allowed him to move so fast that Iida couldn't catch up.

“Mineta, get down here this instant!” Iida still yelled at him, but he wasn’t listening as he was already halfway up the wall.

“We’ll shoot him down.” Midoriya shifted his head, his jaw falling open as he prepped a small blast, nothing serious, but it should knock-

“Hold on,” Monoma spoke up, drawing attention from Midoriya and Rin, who had also been preparing to fire. When they looked his way, they saw the blonde smirking. “I have a feeling it won’t be needed.”

'All that training, all the hard work, it was for this moment! Just you wait, ladies, I'm coming!' With tears in his head, Mineta could almost see it, not just class A's beauties but those of class B as well. But right as he reached the top and gripped the top of the wall, he saw a snake's head pop over the edge.

“Wha…?” Mineta asked, his eyes still wide but his smile growing confused. Why was there a snake up here? And why was it looking at him like that?

Koharu gave Mineta just a couple seconds to move. When he didn't, she burst into flames, transforming into her larger, hotter, and terrifying second form. Mineta found himself being glared at by a giant snake skeleton wrapped in flames, a snake whose jaws fell so far open, they would have fallen off if not for the flame-like flesh as Koharu shrieked at him, a jet of flames nearly roasting him alive, but just barely missing his body, but still catching his hair, settling several balls alight.

“It’s a monster!” Mineta screamed in terror as he fell back down, his towel coming undone. Sadly for Iida, he got a face-off of Mineta's butt as Mineta slid off his face to the floor, rushing to the water to dunk his ball hair into the water to douse the flames. Those in class A had jumped out, ready for action, except for Todoroki, who was chill about the situation. The rest backed down when they didn't see the boys of class B being all that alarmed by the presence of a giant flaming snake.

“Holy…” Sero pointed at the sight, having stood in fright along with others.

“Isn’t that?” Todoroki recalled seeing her like that on I-island.

As Iida, now angry, picked up the wet Mineta and ordered him to get his towel so he could drag him to the teachers, he did just that as Koharu continued to glare at the hero course's shortest student. Midoriya let out a sigh of relief as he sent a quick thanks to his friend for the save.

"(Kero) Thanks, Koharu, for that. Mineta really has a problem." Asui called out from the other side, to which Shiozaki, who had grabbed her towel and wrapped her entire body in it, looked at Asui like she was insane.

“Problem? That was nothing less than shameful and villainous behavior! How can he hope to ever be a proper hero when he can't even control his lust?" Shiozaki demanded, her face red with embarrassment and fury at nearly being seen in such a compromised position. Her vines weren't yet fully grown, writhing and lashing about in irritation as she so badly wanted to punt Mineta right back.

She wasn't the only one, as Komori had dived into the water as they all had heard Mineta and the boys talking. Yanagi remained where she was on the rocks, a towel only around her waist, but she had been ready to use her quirk to send Mineta flying as hard as she could into the building's wall. Perhaps the concussion would have done him some good.

Jiro sighed, rubbing at her face. “Trust me, girl. We’ve been asking ourselves that since day one.”

That didn't seem like a good answer to those of class B, as Kendo looked around at her sister-class girls. "I have to agree with Shiozaki; that's bound to only get him in trouble. You girls, are you sure you're comfortable around him? We could always help you set him straight."

"We'll report this to Aizawa-sensei; Mineta's already on thin ice with him." Uraraka relayed that, considering how Aizawa was when he learned about the peephole thing, she wouldn’t be surprised if Mineta ended up joining those for nighttime classes if not extra training during the day.

Tokage seemed to be the only member of class B who found the entire thing happy. “I knew there was a reason Ragdoll asked for Koharu to bathe with us. I gotta say, I’m loving the security and the extra heat.” She winked at the snake as she returned from the wall. Iida had grabbed and dragged Mineta off, so her job was done.

She remained transformed, however, and slithered into the water, raising its temperature considerably but not enough to make it uncomfortable as Ashido and Tsunotori snuggled against Koharu.

“Couldn’t she have gone with Midoriya then? Couldn’t she have stopped Mineta before he even tried?” Jiro asked.

“How lewd.” Tokage teased. “You’ll want such a dignified lady to bathe with the brutes on the other side of the wall?”

“But…she’s a snake.” Uraraka pointed out.

“Lewd!” Ashido repeated.

“Let me get this straight,” The boys ignored what the girls were talking about, with Kaibara more focused on their side. “He’s done this before, hasn’t he?” He didn’t need to say who for class A to get it.

“Unfortunately, please don't think we'll all degenerate. Mineta's kind of the odd one out!” Sato spoke up for Iida, who would no doubt have wanted that known in his absence.

Monoma relaxed into the waters, Midoriya and Rin following, the former just happy that nothing serious had happened. “So, you got one with anger management issues and an easily bruised ego and another who probably shouldn't be allowed at the public pool?"

"Fuck off, copycat; I'm not gonna be lumped into the same pile of crap as Mineta!" Bakugo yelled, having kept silent since he arrived and saw Midoriya, but he'll be damned if he was put in the same bucket as the little pervert.

"It…certainly makes things interesting," Tokoyami added, having little he could say to spin things positively. He had faith in the teachers and, to some extent, Mineta's capacity to grow past this, but that didn't mean he was something they could advertise.

“Well, not like class B isn’t without its weirdos either.” Honenuki pointed towards Midoriya, who leaned his head to the side.

Confused, he asked. “Why are you pointing at me.”

"Cheerleader outfit," Kamakiri growled, to which Midoriya gasped.

“You dressed in it, too!” Midoriya reminded him that it was a class effort.

Kamakiri turned on him, his finger aggressively pocking Midoriya’s cheek as the smaller boy tried to get him to stop. "Yeah, and that video keeps surfacing on the internet! You know the internet, it’ll live forever!”

"But it was so fun. I saw you smiling during our little performance." His words came out funny because his cheek was pressed, to which Kamakiri growled as he started pulling on Midoriya's cheeks, yelling that he wasn't a bitch and would leave them hanging when the boys needed him. But now his relatives keep screwing with him by sending him links and memes about it.

Honenuki chuckled at the display between what he liked to call the praying mantis and the baby snake. “As you can see, weirdoes, but we wouldn’t swap them for the world.”

"I know I wouldn't. Don't you dare touch my green boys!” Tokage chirped from the other side of the ball.

"Tokage, if you sent an eye over here," Shishida warned her, to which the rest gave cautious glances around, trying to spot a floating eye.

“Oh, relax! If I did that, you think Shiozaki wouldn’t have strung me up by my ankles by now.” Tokage yelled back.

"She won't be the only one you'll need to worry about." Kendo glared at her classmate and friend, who had just started to whistle as she snuggled with Koharu.

“I’m an angel.” She retorted.

"You're something," Yanagi added, to which Tokage gasped.

“Oh my heart, you girls are oh so cruel.” Crying crocodile tears, she turned her back on them, only to immediately split into pieces and dive into the water, splashing everyone.

“Setsuna!” Komori cried and laughed as she tried to return the gesture.

Line break

Having had their fun, they decided to hit the sack. They didn't know when they'd be woken up, but it was best if they tried to get as much sleep as they could. It was a good call, as it was 5AM when Vlad came into their dorms, banging a pot and yelling that they had 30 minutes to get up, get ready, and get dressed.

Many wanted to cry in the early hours, some begging for another 10 minutes, if not an hour. The only ones who seemed to accept the early wake-up were wake-up were Shiozaki and Midoriya, both accustomed to early mornings. So, while most were still pulling themselves from their beds, they had breakfast, cleaned up, got dressed, and made their way to the clearing with 10 minutes to spare. The rest trickled out as time went on, but they did manage to all arrive within the time frame given to them.

Looking over his students, Vlad was just a little too happy as he nursed a nice cup of coffee. The students had no such luck, as they were given water and various juices with their bland but nutritiously sufficient breakfasts of plain oatmeal with banana, which, after the veritable feast the Wild Wild Pussycats had made them the night prior, had some of them in tears.

“Good morning, I know many of you want to get back into bed, but as heroes in training, you don't have the luxury of that when it isn't an explicit day off. Early mornings and late nights will be your norm, later nights if you want to go underground." Vlad stated that as he looked over them, some were starting to wake up and listen more carefully.

"You're out here for one reason: to train your quirks, bodies, and lastly, your skills so that you can have a shot at gaining a provisional license, which will be one step closer towards your goal of becoming heroes and fighting against this rise in crime."

"Shishida, step up and try throwing that as hard as possible." Vlad tossed Shishida a ball identical to the ones they had used during the quirk assessment.

Shishida looked it over, catching on to what this was about. "I understand you wish to see how much we've improved."

“You had the top spot for this particular test with 652.5m," Vlad replied as he stepped aside and allowed his student to take his place. Shishida did a couple of arm stretches to loosen, and as he did so, the rest talked, excited about what they were about to see.

"Oh man, I can't wait to see how much we've grown since the first day," Tsuburaba called, Komori nodding along.

“He’s probably going to get 800 meters at least.” Yanagi guessed.

“Do your best, Shishida!” Midoriya called out as Shishida immediately shifted into beast mode, growing in size and power. His face turned feral as he smiled at the treeline.

“As if there is any other way!” Shishida roared as he pulled his arm back and swung it with as much force as he could muster, sending the ball flying high above the treeline and far into the distance. They all waited for the result to come in as the ball vanished from view, as it had to be!

“660 on the dot.” He and the rest froze at Vlad's statement later, and then he got the reading on his device. He even showed it to them to prove his point.

“Wait…that’s it? That’s less than 10 meters.” Honenuki called out.

"Was his throw just off or something?" Komori asked as that couldn't be right. None was more surprised by this than Shishida, who growled as he shrunk to normal. The boy looked at his hands and wondered where he went wrong with that.

Vlad stepped back to explain things. "Wrong. You've had a single semester with us, not a lot of time, but you have all improved, make no mistake. The issue is that your improvements have mainly been in control and technique, with little if anything done regarding your raw power."

Hearing that made some sense, especially in Midoriya's case, as he couldn't recall any time during the semester or his internship under Endeavour when he had worked on increasing his power. It was always about control and technique, about finding ways to use it at lower power settings without resorting to a full transformation. That was why he and Burnin created Yellowstone mode.

Vlad continued, "We can worry about that stuff later; right now, we're going to work on your quirks and bodies, turning you all hero eggs into some genuine hatchlings. To do that…" He paused before giving them a look that scared many to the bone, as he was an intimidating man without trying, but now?

Now, it looked like he could scare a storm away from his crops if he so pleased.

"We're going to break each of you, but I won't accept even a single person quitting. You're in it for the long haul, so say your prayers now and get ready for some pain." He promised them, t which the class collectively gulped as he turned and led them towards their training groups.

Line Break

It's another Monday evening, and we have another chapter, one of those for which I had a lot of ideas, mainly because I had been able to think about this for a while now. So I just started typing, and it just flowed. Also, do any of you play Umamusume? It's been popping up all over my feed on Twitter and YouTube, and it’s almost all just memes. If you play it, is it any good?

Line Break

Once again, the same issue. Too much story, not enough chapter. In fact, I worked on this real fast and could have posted it a couple of hours ago, but some things came up, and then my stove decided to near break as I roasted some meat. It started to work, but I lost a good 30 minutes.

In the chapter itself, the Wild Wild Pussycats are just a fun group of pros with varying personalities and, for lack of a better word, quirks. I've seen stories that ship Ragdoll with Izuku, but what about ones where she takes a completely non-romantic interest in him and basically treats him like one would a kitten they saw? In fact, why just him, and why not make it everyone with green hair just for shut and giggles?

Izuku crossdressing started as a joke, something that wouldn't mean much, and look how that developed. So even I can't tell you what can happen with this new thing, only that I can imagine it would be pretty fun and a good way to explore the characters some more.

Also, it’s just fun writing Izuku as socially unaware as Shoto. If you watched it, it’s like that one scene in Demon Slayer where Tanjiro is speaking with the Mist Hashira, Muichiro, and the two are just baffled as Muichiro can’t remember seeing Nezuko before, while Tanjiro wonders how he should explain she’s a demon without him trying to kill her as he might not remember the master gave his blessing and that Nezuko had already proven she isn’t like other demons..and Nezuko was just vibing.
