As a lot of you already know, I created this character for my #dtiys challenge and I wanted to share some of my thought process with you guys! โบ๏ธ These are just a few things that I considered while working on her design and I hope you find it useful! :) ๐

Welcome to the community! ๐ and yes! I usually start with three main colors to characterize the overall design. Then the other colors I have in the drawing are made from those three colors. So for example, blue is one of my main colors in this drawing, but I also have dark blue, light blue, grayish blue, etc., and those shades are made from using multiply & overlay to create the lights and darks!
