2025-07-08 15:50:34 +0000 UTCWithout saying much there is a backstory for Kakashi, it's in Shippuden but in terms of the manga it's placed after the end of part 1 and before Shippuden begins. I'm not a huge fan of the anime placement of Kakashi's backstory because it makes you wait a long time to get more info on him (episodes 119 and 120 of Shippuden), longer than the mangaka intended. If you guys are interested in watching those before episode 1 of Shippuden I'd definitely recommend that (as long as you skip the OP and ED of course lol) as I feel it will enhance your enjoyment of Shippuden from the beginning. I don't think it will ruin anything if you decide not to, but with how many questions you guys have about Kakashi I think it'd be helpful to yall and also I think his backstory is a pretty great introduction to Shippuden in general :)
