I saw Linkin Park AMVs of it before I even got here since at the time toonami hadn't aired that far in lmaoo 😂 There are others that come close in Shippuden, but nothing tops this Naruto vs. Sasuke fight for me. The action speaks for itself, this shit is peak. The animation holds up with current modern day big anime, and the animation director on 133 will come back for some future episodes! So many complexities to this and I'm glad that you guys picked up on them. This is such a tense fight and it really starts to pull at your heartstrings the longer it drags on. The stakes feel incredibly high. You don't want these two to be fighting in the first place, and yet they won't back down and the viewer can only hope that Kakashi and Pakkun will arrive in time to stop them. As you both noticed, Sasuke doesn't even want to have to do this. He wasn't even going to fight Naruto before Naruto chased him down and threw the first punch, and he only decided to kill him once he remembered what Itachi said. It seems like such a clear detail but I swear I've seen so many reactors miss that, so good on yall. Big bro said he's trying not to dwell on his decision and hopes that he can just get it over with, and I think that's accurate. Sasuke becomes increasingly horrified by the reality of what he's trying to do to Naruto. The fact he even starts to vomit after he broke his neck really cements that I also liked that you guys asked questions about how Sasuke got the third tomoe, and all I will say so far is the show has given you pretty much all the clues you need now to piece together what causes the Sharingan to advance in power, particularly with the mangekyo
