I don't think you miss out on too much by not seeing them, especially because they're a bit repetitive. Shippuden would make it clear to you even if you did miss these, but it's good to make this more of a full reaction too. But anyways, here is the finale! I'm happy to see how attached you both have gotten to this show at this point :) Part 1 Naruto is very near and dear to my heart but I'm excited for you guys to see just how different from it Shippuden can feel!
