Race Part 2: Islamophobia, Racism, & Feminism

Yeah they are supposed to complement each other and be watched in that order. The begging the question warning has been like a 'Wet Paint' sign, people can't help but touch apparently!

I really like your deep dive videos Olly. Fantastic work. I think you could do more to highlight your train of thought though, skimming the YouTube comments sections was pretty painful. Some kind of tl;dr, or maybe highlighting critical points like 11:30 above where you clearly state a strawman that is immediately used in the comments ... or the begging the question definition of race might help some people understand perhaps? (Heck I had to reference your Part 1 a bit while watching Part 2.)

I'd say the same way it deals with other criminals - policing and intelligence. And a lot of people, including Razack, would say that Muslims haven't lived unmolested in the West. At least not as much as dominant white populations.

Wow! This is tremendous work Olly - probably your best. The work of Seth and Razack is fascinating and insightful and while I'm getting my head around it, as a way to think about race, it is exceedingly useful. I do have one question: How does an open and liberal society defend itself when those that would do it harm (I'm specifically thinking here of "lone wolves" and other actors that self-identify as Muslim) can effectively hide in plain sight amid our resident Muslim population? I think it is too easy to accuse Western countries of neo-colonialism when for centuries, Muslim communities have lived unmolested and flourished in the West right up to today, despite having a worldview at odds with that in the West.
